Our cottages are beautifully decorated, huge windows looking to the mountains over Underberg village, open fireplace.Your hosts Johan & Judy are warm & friendly with lots of local knowledge. Johan does tours of the area-Sani Pass, hikes, birding & the rare Yellowood Forest. The property is 14ha so walks & mtn biking are a must for the energetic or just relax on the big verandah,

Directions

From Pietermaritzburg, go north on the N3, Just before,Howick turn left at the Underberg/Southern Drakensberg off ramp, D617. Travel to Underberg(approx 100kms), going through Boston, Bulwer. At Underberg turn right to Himeville at Sani Road. On the right about 1km is a sign 'Araluen at Spitskop', follow the driveway up onto the hill.
